~(する)ことはない
"There is no need to
". Contrast this with ~(した)ことがある/ ない, which means "one has done/never done
before".
Ex.
ただの風邪ですから、心配
する
ことはありません
. It's just a common cold, so there's no need to worry.
あやまることはないよ。There's no need to apologize!
